Re: OT-------WAAAAY OT---I'M SORRY-BUT HAVE TO ASK THE BEST

It would be whatever color you want, covered by yellow polka dots (not "poke-a-dots"Wink. With any luck, the two colors wouldn't clash... not that anyone would notice...

Thats right Mike "polka dots", just goin with the posters

sp! Hmmmm and thinking about your answer makes me wonder, makes more sense doesnt it, yellow polka dots means the dots would be yellow. Why is it that when we hear this, we picture a yellow bikini with contrasting color dots, or am I the only one????

Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was as nervous as she could be
She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was afraid that somebody would see
(Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore)

It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polkadot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polkadot bikini
So in the locker she wanted to stay

She was afraid to come out in the open
And so a blanket around her she wore
She was afraid to come out in the open
And so she sat bundled up on the shore
(Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore)

It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polkadot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polkadot bikini
So in the blanket she wanted to stay
(Two, three, four, stick around we'll tell you more)

Now she's afraid to come out of the water
And I wonder what she's gonna do
Now she's afraid to come out of the water
And the poor little girl's turning blue
(Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore)

It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polkadot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polkadot bikini
So in the water she wanted to stay

From the locker to the blanket
From the blanket to the shore
From the shore to the water
Guess there isn't any more

Lyrics by Paul Vance and Lee Pockriss.

Yup we used to plug our nickles into the cafe table top juke and sing it at the top of our voices. Mom and Dad too. We thought it was hilarious! Also "Wolverton Mountain"

Claude King Wolverton Mountain Lyrics

They say don't go on Wolverton Mountain if you're looking for a wife
Cause Clifton Clovers has a pretty young daughter
He's mighty handy with a gun and a knife
Her tender lips are sweeter than honey and Wolverton Mountain protects her there
The bears and the birds tell Clifton Clovers if a stranger should enter there

All of my dreams are on Wolverton Mountain I want his daughter for my wife
I'll take my chances and climb that mountain
Though Clifton Clovers he might take my life
Her tender lips are sweeter than honey...

I'm going up on Wolverton Mountain it's too lonesome down here below
It's just not right to hide his daughter from the one who loves her so
Her tender lips are sweeter than honey...
And I don't care about Clifron Clovers I'm gonna climb up on his mountain
I'm gonna take the girl I love I don't care about Clifron Clovers
I'm gonna climb up on that mountain and I'll get the one I love

My Godmother and the itsy bitsy tiny-weeny bikini...

I've a wonderful godmother, with a great daughter a year older than me... we went to school together and I know her to have been a good girl... years later mom tells me this story...

Went out shopping with her daughter for a swimsuit. I don't know if it had polkadots but I'm assured it was itsy bitsy... way too itsy-bitsy... but the kid has the chutzpa to ask mom if she could have it.

Now if you knew my godmother you'd understand that there was absolutely no chance of this purchase being made... the request was made to pull her chain...

Did she scream? yell? lecture her daughter on morals and modesty?

Nope.

She said she thought it was lovely. A great swimsuit. Gorgeous... in fact she wanted one for herself.

And much to her daughter's horror proceeded to try it on.

There was whining, crying, begging and nashing of teeth... but she went through with it... and actually put it on...

after she recovered the daughter picked out a swimsuit that she could survive seeing on her mom...

Re: Two, Three, Four, Stick around we'll tell you more?....

If no comma between yellow and polka dot... yellow defines the polka dots,,(?),, or correct order of adjectives; shape comes before color and both before object,, "It's all in the song.." All that aside...I always thought that bikini had yellow polka dots (or poke-a-dots Smile until the commercial that is running now. My husband commented today that "finally" they corrected the words of the song in the commercial and I'm saying "Well, what's up w/the orange polka dots?".....YOU GUYS ROCK!! HOPE YOU HAVE A PRODUCTIVE WEEK !!

Actually, polka dot describes the pattern, yellow is the

color of the bikini.
