Question re: FedEx invoices !
Well, I learned my lesson, I actually knew better ... finally after all this time ... I rcvd not 1, not 2, but 3 invoices from FedEx for almost $40 each. One of them I accidently put "bill sender" and the other two ... not sure what happened.
I haven't called Fedex yet, not sure if I should waste my time and I have not called the SS yet either. I'm just wondering from those who have been in this situation, what is the best way to resolve it? I haven't done a search (yet, will be doing so after this post) only because I want this to be posted as a lesson to be learned !
My lesson of the day: When sending out an express package (regardless if there is a 3rd party acct #) do not put your name and address as the sender! Put the rcvr's name as the sender.
Argghhhh ....... Not what I want to deal with .....

I had one...
I called fedEx, had forgotten to put acct # on, gave to them on phone and they (FedEx) fixed on the spot. Also called TC and they said if that didn't fix, they would, but turned out not needed. Call - what can be the worst they well say?...No? They are willing to work with you. Good luck.

Re: I had one...
Happened to me too. The first time I called FedEx they did say no. So I hung up and called right back. The second time was a charm. Guess it depends on what mood the CS rep is in.

Re: I had one...
You're right about their mood. Sometimes I can't get rep to schedule pu - so hang up, call back and get it done.

I do the online route. If the account # isn't valid, I call for another account #.

Never had the problem with FedEx, but you have to be really careful with UPS if you have an account. I got billed for one, and I really believe that I did all the steps to bill receiver. But, guess I didn't. A little more difficult than FedEx to get thru the steps.

UPS and I are still fighting ...
... over a package that was sent more than a year ago. They keep adding interest, and it has "gone to collection" several times. UPS cancelled my account a long time ago.
I KNOW that I put the correct account number on the package and checked "Bill recipient".
