SoCal Signings
Attention fellow notaries. Do not take assignments form SoCal Signings, San Dimus, CA. First, they only pay $85 for the signings and email doc's, plus, they take over 35 days for payment. I did a closing for them April 27th, and have not to this date received payment.

Did a signing for them in April (paid more than 85) and was paid in 35 days (Lisa said it would be 30-40). Honest and up front. Sorry you are having difficulties.

Im sorry Carol that you have been so upset. I have sent another check to replace the check you have not yet received.
I respect your view of earlier payment. I work very hard to make sure that those who kind enough to agree to work with us feel they are paid fairly. Some of our clients pay very little, while others pay more generously. One Stewart Title office likes to pay us $125.00 for email docs .... while others pay $250.00 so at times, our fees at times change depending on the client. You did agree to $85.00 after all. But you should of received it about now, and you have not so for this I am again sorry.
Wayne thank you for the show of support.

I've never had a problem w/them. And I think you may be overreacting to pymt time too. Most co.'s I do work with take at least 30-45 days for pymt.

Ditto - SoCal Signings pays as agreed. That is a lot more than I can say for some of the other signing companies lately.

You are correct Cynthia. Some don't pay at all like Mark Vahey with Excel Signing Services, LLC in Costa Mesa, CA.

I enjoy working for them. Lisa, Chuck or Hanna are always available if you have a problem. I miss not getting assignments from them. Their checks may be a bit slow but they don't bounce.

Never had a problem with them. Usually before 30-45 days, but truthfully, I don't really check too much on them as the checks always come.
I won't post about payment problems with a company until my collection efforts have come up empty at 90 days. Things can happen. I have had mail take 10 days from the San Dimas area and it is only 60 miles away.

SoCal have always paid within 45 days, sometimes sooner. We would all like to see a check prior to 30 days but it does not always happen. We have always worked out a fair price but I have never done an E-Doc for under $100.
Addie, you are slowly putting yourself out of business.

I have worked for SoCal for almost two years. I haven't experienced a signing company who deserves their money more than them, they pay what they say they'll pay, they pay when they say they will. If they make a rare mistake, they fix it. I have not yet met better people in the industry. Im glad that several people came to their defense.
