Why don't you share the information YOU already know and then maybe people will expand on it.

So if you have no knowledge, what prompts you to think you could enter into such a venture? What are your qualifications and experience? How do you expect to pull title companies away from their current SS? How much capitalization will you have? This is NOT a cheap proposition.
The cemeteries are filled with SS corpses that were incompetent and/or dishonest. Even the good ones are struggling; you could hardly have picked a worse time in the industry to consider it.
Suggest reading this board throroughly for more insight on what would likely be a folly.

Also, how much experience
do you have in the loan signing field? If your answer is little or none, I can almost guarantee you will fail.

Re: Starting a Signing Agency - Please clarify
Do you wish to become a signing agent, or are you asking how to start a signing agency which brokers the services of notaries?

If you want to be a signing agent and work from home you can do that. If you want to be signing agency then you will need to research further. Speak with an attorney, accountant, and get to know the industry and laws. Take a look at National Notary Association. Some good pointers.
