What type of browser are you using and do you know how strict its security settings are? Also, who is your ISP and do you know whether they specifically block certain types of traffic?

Our chat application is very friendly and should work for most people, so we're trying to determine what affected users have in common.

I'm using Windows Internet Explorer, and the security setting is "medium." My ISP is a local wireless service provider; I'm not sure what they block. I'll try to find out.

I seem to get a gray screen when first entering the chat area... but just refresh the browser and the chat applet appears.

I tried it.... using Firefox behind a proxy server and it works quite nicely... no one to talk to, tho. ;-)
