I'm really tired of this company - I did a closing for them last night. I actually got them to agree to my fee which I didn't expect. Guess they couldn't find anyone else that was available. I haven't done anything for them since 2005 because they never accept my fee. Anyway, they are such a PIA. They called me at the closing table - called me after the closing and then I had to fax so much stuff back. Believe me my fee included that. They had the gall to call me the day after I accepted the signing and the girl told me that I was lucky to get what I got as far as fee and could I lower it - what gall. I told her she could go right ahead and find someone else to take it - she said they already put enough time into it but that next time I won't be so lucky - I told her next time I won't accept a signing - when I get my check I'm going to contact them and tell them to never call me again. I don't have time for their crap they put you through.

they do a lot of hand holding ... for $40 they get green

notaries and have to stay on top... they don't know what to do obv when they get a "real" notary.... lol

they stopped calling me FINALLY as I would sit there and laugh and laugh when they offered $40 to me.... they used to call 4-6 times a week... and I have NEVER accepted anything from them so never understood why they called so much

They called me three times tonight asking me to do the same job because I was their closest notary and I had done more than 10 signings for them. I stuck to my fee and they haven't called back.

Nice job, Elizabeth. We all have to stick to our fees. Sometimes they will pay my fee; most times they won't. Depends on how desperate they are, so hang in there, keep quoting your fee & they just might surprise you some day.

just remember... if you agree to a lower fee to be nice they

will NEVER go higher as you would have established yourself as a low ball notary..... so always stick to your fees.....

and thx!
