volume signings
What do some of you think about volume work? Like I generally get 2 closing per day. One in the morning and one in the evening. I usually get e docs for one and overnight for the other. This is the norm for me. At first I only wanted one per day, because I could only handle one per day. Now I have been working awhile and have established a relationship with several companies whom call me regularly because I have competitive fees, dependable, and give 100% of detail to my work. Thank you for your responses.

I don't understand the question...... volume work..... are you considering volume as working w/one lender or more than one lender w/in one day? Are your fees competitive with other SA's or SS's ?...where does the discount play into this?........... just trying to follow you. You should charge each assignment as being your "only" assignment of the day... not discounted because both borrowers live on the same street/subdiv. and assignment is from 2 different lenders/ss's.....help me out here.

What exactly do you mean by volume work? In General, I love volume work. Plan carefully while doing it. Two in a day is about all that I want in a day. 3 gets testy with all the "after work." Three generally means you are up late taking care of the packaging. Of course, this is just my opinion. Otherwise, take what you can get to cover slow periods.

Love your name - but just so there's no confusion, I don't find 3 a day to be 'testy' at all, and I always drop my pkgs before I get home - wouldn't keep me up late. =)

Only you can determine what kind of workload you can comfortably handle in your situation, and the income level you want to have. I guess I'd say try to accommodate the company whenever possible, with the understanding that whatever you don't take will be given to someone else, who will likely establish their own relationship with them.
That said, don't quit your day job.

Wow. I miss the 5-8 per day that was the norm two years ago. 2-3 per day is a good number, no doubt.
