Re: ACCUSIGNING done good!

They sent me a check in the wrong name. I returned it. The owner gave me a hard time at first and it took MONTHS and I finally quit calling and gave up. Lo & behold, I was issued the check in the right name at last!!!!! At least they came through IN THE END.

I read the posts after I did a signing for them~ however I had no problem in getting paid
for it (January). I thought they were nice to work with and would be happy to get another
assignment from them.

I initially accepted a signing from them tonight - then I checked NotRot because the name rang a bell. I immediately sent emails declining the confirmation and assignment (they sent the docs anyway - everything was dated yesterday, so you know that was another problem waiting to happen)

Thank you, NotRot community, for the feedback on these companies...

I got another call a couple of hours later from someone else at Accusigning, wanting to schedule something for Monday. When I explained why I turned down the first assignment (bad rep, no pay or slow pay), she got a bit defensive and suggested I was just listening to rumors; there are a lot of companies with the same name, maybe the reports were about some other company, you're missing the opportunity for more work, yada yada yada.

Phone number matched, it's the same company. I don't work for free, and I don't need to chase the money that's owed me. I kept the discussion as professional as possible, focusing on the company rather than hammering the scheduler (as someone said in an earlier thread - don't shoot the messenger; they're just getting paid to do a job).

The conversation pretty much followed the same script as the Accusigning posts in the thread starting with #181352, so be aware - that's the way they will come at you, trying to deflect the negative comments.

To any Accusigning schedulers reading this thread - sorry I can't help you; ask your bosses to clean up their act, and it will make your job a lot easier.
