Bancserv Question
Did anyone receive an urgent email message to review and resign notary package from Bancserv Mobile Notary Service, Yorba Linda, CA? The attachment is labeled UPDATED NOTARY PACKET 2006. Thanks.

Re: Yes, received that email on 3 different occasions
I hope you don't mind if I ask, but did you complete and resubmit it? I would have just signed up with them after November, 2006, so I find hard to believe that they already need updated info from me.

I signed up with them about a year ago. They lowered their fees around August (I think), basically they want to know if you will accept their low fees, I have my fees and stick to them.

It's a trap
That's about the 4th email I receive from the in the past 6 months. I think what they are trying to do is weeding out those who want the higher fee. Their database showed I'm at $50 rate, but all the schedulers know how much I charge that they automatically put in the order without me asking.

Okay, so did you fill out the 'new' packet and cross out the fees, like they suggest or did you just negoiate with them when they called? Just curious, I am getting similar emails from companies stating $50 signing fees, one was $46! From the Bancserv email: "If your base fee is more than what is listed on the contract, please mark through and note your fee to the right, then initial. But please be aware that higher fees may affect the volume of business we direct to you, as we will give notaries adhering to our standard fee schedule first priority. "

Re: I once tried to hook up with chicago title they refered
I just finished doing a search with orange button trying to find info about bankserv. Very little there and glad to check here before sending them the email in regard to unacceptable low fees. It does appear they are looking for only the closers who work for $50.00.
