CDS Signing Services

(This may, or may not, be the same company discussed in message thread begun with message #36517 in May '05. Phone number is similar, but I pull up an address in Apple Valley, CA.)

I have never worked with them, nor have I signed up with them, but they found me. I got a call today for a loan to close tomorrow, with e-docs, for the generous sum of...wait for it...$65.00.

"That includes the e-doc fee?", asks li'l ol' me.
"Yes."
"Well, I'm sorry, but I charge..."
"I'll see if I can get it approved and call you back if..."

Right...sure...

Anyway, has anyone worked for them recently. I'll grant that I am in a competetive market, but this is ridiculous! This would have to be a VERY small package with a VERY fast closing time.

(And, if anyone has read the prior thread I referred to, I've done some World Savings loans in the last year or so, and they were not short or quick: they were those "pick-a-payment" loan things!)

Anyway, I was just wondering what the current buzz is about this company, their closings, and what they are paying!

I have only done 1 signing for this Co. Alittle slow in paying, but I did get pd. I quoted my fee and they had no problem with it, and it was more than $65. Everyone that I delt with @ this CO was really nice. I would work for them again.
