Conference calls for notary training

What a great idea. I was sent a sample package and I am to call at one of 4 certain dates and times and will be trained and given a certificate when complete. This is truly a great thing for the rural notaries who can't get to a big city for training.

Any reasonably priced training by an experienced individual is certainly better than nothing.

However, that having been said, I have watched your posts and I don't see someone who seems to need a lot of training.

The training is offered through All Reverse Transactions, Nancy Geiger. It is reverse mortgage training. I will follow up when I am done, it will be Mar. 20-22, (one day, you pick.)

Great company. Fast payments too. Easy to deal with. Worth your time to do the training... Just my experiences with them of course.

Caveat: They don't pay for a no-fund,whatever the reason.

Not a problem

Considering that the chances of a reverse mortgages not completing and being funded are pretty slim (in my experience), the odds of getting paid are extremely good. So this policy is of little concern.

You have to be invited - they send you a sample package and an ID number to use when you call in for the training session. It's done as a phone conference call, so you need to have an ID number assigned to you.

Before they send you the sample package, they make you sign an agreement that the most you will bill them per job is $125. After the training, you have to answer a quiz about reverse mortgages and send it in. I have done the training and quiz but have not yet received an assignment from them.

Go onto their website and poke around until you find the person to contact for sign-up.

Re: Conference calls ... I just finished this training

I dealt with Nancy Geiger, notary training Supervisor, at All Reverse Transactions - really nice lady...

[e-mail address]

Telephone: 1-800-542-4113

I initially contacted them by e-mail and she responded and set me up.

Good luck!!
