DOT Notarization - 2 Notaries - Different states
Newbie question: And, I'm sure I know the answer ... but, wanted to seek advice for some reinsurance.
I'm doing a notarization where the husband signed in one state with that states notary and I am meeting the wife today. On the deed, the last two pages, there is two spots to be notarized. One of them is before the bo's signature and the other is actually the last page of the deed after the BO's signatures. Now, the prior notary used both acknowledgments (the one before the bo signatures and the one after) for just the husband. It is my understanding (please tell me if I am wrong!) that the notarial wording before the BO's signatures actually is not the spot we notarize, it is AFTER the BO's signature. Am I correct? Why oh why did this notary notarize both these spots? And, where should I mark "loose acknowledgment attached"? Should it be written next to where she signs which is actually the page before the last page? I feel confused, but yet confident .. I guess I need some reinsurance here.
