I laughed at them this week also. They would give me 50 and I said 75 with NO fax backs. They couldn't do that, so I said no way. They then said 60 and I said 75 with NO fax backs. He got aggravated at me and hung up on me. I thought it was funny. Had a good time with that one.

They called me yesterday and when I heard $40 I had a hard time not laughing out loud. Why would anyone accept that? There is no way a profit is being made with those $$. I think the SS who can only offer that are going to find themselves out of business, I guess they do not know how to negotiate with the Title co. and lenders. We all know of the signing services that pay us a fair fee and part of that is because they are not greedy and did negotiate for our fees.

I may be wrong...but isn't Nations Direct a

part of Nations Title, as an in house signing service?
I thought it was them, but I may be wrong...won't be the 1st time won't be the last either...LOL!

Re: I may be wrong...but isn't Nations Direct a

I just got my weekly call from Nations with the same thing $60.00. Likewise I said 75.00 with no fax baxks, and I got the usual well let me see if I can get it approved and I will call you back. I said yeah right.

I've explained to the callers why we charge the rates we do, and I have even advised them to work for legitimate companies before they go out of business. Being a scheduler for Nations Direct must be as difficult as being a telemarketer.

Being a scheduler for Nations Direct must be like a lumberjack trying to cut down a California

redwood with a hacksaw.

I got a call from Nations Direct to do signing $60 with edocs. I told them what my base was.He said you must just work for title and mortgage companies. I said I also sign for signing services that pay more than you do.
He then said well, more power to you! And hung up on me .

Last time they called me and I quoted my fee he asked if I was trying to make my monthly income off of just one signing, and I thinK I only quoted $125.
He tried to coerce me into believing I was asking an outrageous fee, before he hung up on me, probably due to the uncontrollable laughter I could no longer suppress.

I once got a call asking for $25 plus $20 for e-docs. I told him he was nuts. He immediately called my DH and offered him $5 more. Needless to say, DH was laughing out loud at the offer!
