Find the bright side of everything.
I am totally convinced that, if you look hard enough, you can find the bright side of any bad situation.
A lot of times one door will close, but another will open. A closing will get cancelled, but a better one will come along. A very difficult signing situation will require you to learn a new skill. A closing in a remote location will show you parts of your state that you otherwise might not have seen.
This is not just pollyanna. Try it. The next time you're in a situation that you think is negative, try real hard to find something positive about it. I'll bet you can.
I had a closing yesterday morning that was 40 miles away. The payment date on the documents was wrong. So were a lot of other things. The borrower didn't want to sign. The documents had to be redrawn. Drive 40 miles back. I agreed to go back once the new documents were sent to me. The borrower's wife had to go to work and wouldn't be able to sign until after 8pm. In the meantime it snowed, mixed with rain. The roads became icy, quickly. Driving became very treacherous. Behind the wheel of every car that passed I could see white knuckles. After my 6pm closing I made the 40-mile journey back with new documents. Didn't get home until very late. Exhausted.
There's a bright side to all of this. Give me time. I'm still trying to find it.

You made it there and back safely; you provided great
service; you made people happy; and you shared a nice thought.
Very bright, indeed.

Speaking of plays...
A political joke... let's see... if I can make it bi-partisan maybe it wouln't get removed and I wouln't get thwacked. Let's call him Pres. Bulton (a nice concatenization of the names of our two most recent presidents, one of which is likely to be your least favorite of all times)...
So Pres. Bulton wakes up in the middle of the night and sees a vision the ghost of George Washington. So he asks the ghost "What can I do to best serve my country??" and the ghost says "Always tell the truth" and the ghost fades away.
A couple nights later ... it's the ghost of Thomas Jefferson... and he says "Mr. Jefferson, what can I do to best serve my country???" and the ghost answers "Always Respect the Constitution" and the ghost fades away.
A week later the ghost of FDR shows up... same gig... What can I do to best serve my country? "Make opportunities for the working man" and the ghost fades away.
Next comes the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. "Abe, the greatest president of all time, what can I do to best serve my country????
"Go see a play"

Reminds me of a Monty Python song from "Life of Brian"...
