How to change forum alias?

Hi, all. My forum alias is not editable. Can only premier members change it? I was hoping to change mine to have "CA" in it.

I also found the instructions in the FAQs about changing the forum alias and it points me to the same place, which is not editable for me. Can I only set it once and once I've picked an alias, it's set in stone?
