IL notaries - need old info about title act

Does anyone remember the link to the title act in IL which use to restrict us as notaries but now has been changed. I need to print it out and send it to a title company that still believes we can not do business in IL. Thanks! You can post here or email me at Chicagonotary.com

oops! I just read this and it is not what I was looking for. I am looking for the title act that was changed last March and last June I believe. It was changed to say notaries can be a 3rd party to a real estate transaction. It use to say there could not be a third party and that we had to be independent ecsrowees.

That's the only one I have handy...may want to search on general assembly's site. This one does though remove the requirement to be an escrowee.
