depends on what the company who hired you says...and what is printed on the docs....if the docs (DOT etc) say John L Doe, then THAT is the way he signs it, if it says John Doe, then THAT is the way he signs it....unless the company who hired you states in their instructions any thing different, i.e. "Make sure borrower signs exactly as printed on the docs"....then that should answer your questions. This is all assuming that you have properly identified him and are satisfied that John Doe and John L Doe are the same person
"Doc"

Re: Signature line is...
(Signature line is John Doe, aka John L Doe.) He is the grantor. So is he going to have 2 signitures in 1 line? Thanks for helps. Grantee is John Doe.

Re: Signature line is...
If it says John Doe AKA John Q. Doe below the line he should sign ALL OF IT on the signature line. The only way that is not what he should sign is if there are specific instructions from the person who hired you. Often they include an AKA aff to clear up differences in names but here we use the AKA if they acquired title in one name and are refinancing etc in another. I am not an attorney, just my experience. Have a great weekend.
