Is everyone else slow.

I have been doing this for almost a year now and this is the first week that I have actually went a whole week without a signing. Usually I am at least steady with two or three a week. I have been seriously thinking about quiting my full time job and doing this full time, but I'm glad I haven't yet. Guess I will just wait and see.

No, not a good time to quit a day job, sadly. n/m

This month has been slower then normal and this is the slow week of the month 14th-19th. I only did 10 signings this week.

Only have 4 on the books for next week, should have alot more by now.

I haven't had any this week either. But my baby has been sick so it hasn't really bothered me. I missed a call this morning by about 5 minutes, returned the call and they had already found another notary. Frown I've got to get on the ball!!

I've nothing all week. Now two this afternoon/evening. Had to turn down three today because of conflicting times. One for Monday so far. Go Figure?

I had one on Tues and one scheduled for tonight. Had to cancel put off tonight's until tomorrow bc the weather here on LI is awful. Been snowing all day and now it's turning to ice. I would have been going there at the height of rush hour. Thank god the BOs were very flexible!

Jill, where are you on LI?

Roads out here in western Suffolk are all ice. I'm glad I had nothing scheduled today - would have been a nightmare to get out. And to think it was in the 50's yesterday...

Mike,
I'm in Farmingville, up by Bald Hill. We deff have a few inches so far. This kids bus driver refused to drive up here. Can't even get off my block when it gets like this. I need 4WD. Where are you?

I'll tell you...

I've been a little on edge thinking that the sky was falling. I've had something everyday bizday this month so far and passing out ones I couldn't take. Strange!
Not one cancel.
I'm thinking get rich quick -- would that be in paper or gas? GEEZE!

Re: Slow...

I've been doing a fairly steady 2-3 per week since the first of the year (which is a BIG pick-up from last year). I'd maybe like to do 3-4/week, but not much more than that 'cause I'm semi-retired and also have a farm to run. However, it WAS a bit annoying when my closing for tonight just got bumped by an attorney. That would have only been my second this week, and I've come to rely on at least 2/week. :-(

I do signings part time and I'm consistently accepting between 2-4 signings a week, with no cancellations.

Here in Southern IL, I've been keeping pretty busy. 20 this month. 4 scheduled for next week. I've worked every Sat this month which is unusual. No cancellations. Hope EOM is busy also.

Re: Reasonably steady here...

Texas is a hot market right now. I have a client that has bought 7 new homes in a year. All in the Dallas area. Most were nothing down and always a renter was waiting to move in.

last March 2006 i did 31 closings. This March, so far, i've only done 10..... Not good this month for me. Unless I do 20 within the next 2 weeks......
