I'm sure it depends on local custom / management directive. I know that in my area they are asking the branch offices to accommodate their customers in different areas of the county and are not using outside notary signing agents unless it is an evening or weekend appointment. Chicago Title in our county also has requirements for E&O insurance, references, experience...

that's a new one for me. I've done some loan signings through my loan signing agencies for Chicago Title. In fact, I did one this week.

Theoretically, they also work thru Bancserv... a very low-paying SS. I've never done one, so am talking thru my hat.
