Nations Direct

I have been getting calls lately from Nations Direct. Wanting me to do edocs for $60.

Last time I told them what I charge. He said you must do work for title and lenders. I said I do for signing agencies also. I quoted my base and edoc fee. He said to me more power to you and hung up. Today I got another call from them wanting to pay me $60 for edocs.

There is just a point that I will not go to.

I understand. I have the same problem with them. I work for Nations Direct and Notary Direct, and it took me a while to sort them out. Notary Direct is good. Nations Direct are weasles with the payments. They want to pay $45 for overnight docs, and $60 for email. I tell them I will to the job for: (I quote them my price). They say they have to get it approved. I say fine. If they get it approved, just fax it over. Sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't.

Please, DON'T work for those prices. Otherwise, the clients of the good signing services will go over to Nations Direct, and all of our fees will be lowered. Who is getting that extra cut? Probably Nations Direct. I sign for agencies that charge less than they do, and pay me more. Plus, over here, cheap gas is $3.15 a gallon.

I will not do edocs for $60.

Besides it just not being profitable, there have been times where and, this isn't just this company but, it has happened where I have had a situation and call the signing service they know nothing about the documents. I get the call from the signing service then, deal directly with the title company with everything else.

Last week I got a call from a signing service that wanted to know if a closing had occured three weeks after it was to happen. And, it was a closing that had cancelled.
