Non-paying companies in California
I have tried the search function with no results. I could swear I read a post sometime within the last year about a California government website where you can file a complaint against a California company that owes you money and it will be investigated. I don't remember much more than that about the post. I'm not sure if it only had to do with Notary payments or if it was for all types of businesses. Does that ring a bell with anyone or am I imagining things?
If anyone has that website, please post it!

Hi Bernice - thanks, but no, it wasn't the BBB. It was some sort of CA government dept. For the life of me I can't remember what it was.
