OT - Audio CD's revisited

Turns out I really like Audio cd's, but I don't like the rental companies. Tried one, and they break the books up into selections, so it turns out that my first book was actually 3 selections. Now this rental club is 2 selections a month, so I finished the first 2 selections in 4 days, and didn't get to hear how the book ends, because selection 3 wouldn't come until next month. Thank goodness they give a 2 week free trial I quit! So I found the end of my book online, and just burned the last 5 cd's so I can finish it during my travels. I did find a better rental situation to tryout free for 2 weeks. (btw, my local library had about 10 sci-fi titles and that was it).

I was just shocked when I realized that a "selection" was not an entire book, what a rip off that was!!!

Hi, Lisa. Don't know whether you saw my message about inter-library loan (which is usually free). If you did or you've already searched your library network, then never mind. Smile Otherwise, you might want to ask your librarian about it.
