FREE is my favorite four-letter word :)
Esp. with coffee: I am an addict, no doubt. Thanks for the info!

Are they trying to "make nice"
for refusing to send coffee to our troops? I received one of those "forward this" emails that said some of the troops over seas sent a letter to Starbucks advising them that they really loved their coffee and could not get a good cup over there and truly missed the Starbucks coffee and asked if they could be sent some. Starbucks replied that they did not support the war and would not be sending any coffee to them. Then the email went on to say that the persons forwarding it were not ever buying another cup of Starbucks coffee and wanted everyone else to boycott them as well. I think I'll try to contact Starbucks for their "input" on this to see who is the bad guy this time and if, (by chance) Starbucks did make that statement I won't hesitate to "bad mouth" them for many years to come.

Check out snopes.com
They say this is a false story.

Re: I Checked out snopes.com
And according to this, as you said, it is a false rumor. I, too, sent an email last night (early this AM actually) to Starbucks and I am awaiting their reply. Just for my own satisfaction I would like to "hear" it from them. However, if I could believe an email saying they did this awful thing then I should also be someone that could believe "snopes" articles stating this is a false statement.
