O//T Trading pens for grapefruit
Adorable elderly borrowers yesterday at a closing. They liked my pens so much that at the end of the closing I told them they could keep them. It was like I gave them a million dollars. They just insisted that I take 4 grapefruit home. They had a huge box of them. They were so cute. I love this job.

Re: Gifts..
Last year around Christmas time, almost every borrower gave me homemade candy or fruit after every closing. They always insisted! Now it's getting warmer outside and its time to lose those few extra pounds from all the goodies. Gotta love it!

Lovin' my job too!
BO's the other night rolled out the red carpet for me! Drinks (soda) a bowl of snacks.even offered me dinner. Gave me some really cool pens. He owned his own business, the pens were awesome! Some times our work isn't always pleasant, but more times than not, people are wonderful and grateful for the service we provide.

I love doing RM's! Yes, these do take longer but you can gain a wealth of knowledge & history listening to them. Almost all treat you like you are a "treasured" member of their own family. I too have had quite a few "love my pens" because they are easier for them to use (especially those who are recovering from a stroke). I always leave them the pens and write down the brand/name/type so they can acquire more later on.

What kind of pens do you use? I buy and love the Foray Precision Point. They write so smoothe. I buy them at Office Depot. $5.99 for 12.
