Question for Search2Close Contract Closers

For those of you who are contract closers for Search2Close, their agreement seems very one-sided. For example:

- $50 trip fee on a no-sign (without regard to distance or time spent at borrower's home)

- After loan successfully closes but additional docs need to be signed, they will pay $50 to go back out. But if you fail to go out for the additional docs then you forfeit all or part of your original fee!

- Fees will not be paid for printing docs.

- Failure to ship docs same day (or next day if closing occurs after 7 PM) will result in a fine of half the agreed fee (I understand docs must be shipped at the earliest possible opportunity, but penalized half the fee???)

I could probably live with the occasional trip fee if they kept me busy enough, but there is no guarantee they will. For those of you who are already contract closers, is it worth it to sign this?

I raised the same concerns when I signed with them - I was told (1) they have almost 0% rescissions; (2) I would get so much business that it would more than make up for the occasional no-sign and the fact that they don't pay a print fee

I've had one call from them in six months ...that one assignment was completed and I was paid in a timely manner - haven't had any from them since. You make the call.

I've worked with them for some time. I've always been paid my full fee promptly. I'd work with them anytime regardless of what their "agreement" says. When they call me for a closing I tell them my price, ask for a confirmation, and go.
