Reports to BBB -- "out of scope"?
I tried to log a complaint with the BBB against a company for non-payment for services rendered -- identical in nature to several hundred complaints filed with BBB against other signing services that are viewable -- but received this response:
quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...this complaint falls outside of our scope of activities. The Better Business Bureau does not handle business to business payment/collections issues. We handle complaints between consumers and companies only. In this case, since the party you’re complaining about is your customer, you would either need to hire an attorney or a collection agency to recover the amount you are seeking. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What gives? Is there a certain way to complain to them? Did they change their policies? Did the other few hundred just slip through the cracks?

I did complain to them about SOX, and I got results. (Of course, SOX has never called me again since I twisted their arm and got my money, but so what.)
