SOLUTIONS TITLE ( HOUSTON TX. )

What a bunch of crooks. I am sure that most of you know I am a SS. I have done many closings for this CO and now thay don't want to pay me.

Whatever you do beware and be careful about this Co. They are owned by Eagis Mortgage Co. They will not pay if the loan does not fund. They are another one of the Mortgage Co that is about to fold there doors.

If anyone has questions about them send me an e-mail.

Tony,

I've had a number of Aegis loans where Solutions was the Title Co. Been paid for all of them.

Having said that, there's a difference.

Mine were all through a Signing Service which has always paid me. So, either the SS paid if the loan didn't fund...or all of the loans I was associated with, funded.

I hope you're not stuck with a bunch instead of one or two. Bad enough if it's the lower number.

Your info is good to know. I'll have to take your message into consideration the next time I'm asked to do an Aegis.

I see where Aegis is having troubles and might go the way of Fremont or New Century.

Just another reason to (Be careful who you work for!)

I would suggest that we all be careful who we work for right now. This is not the "best of times" for notaries. There will be a lot more upheaval in the loan industry , or so it would appear . Credit card companies are finally getting "caught-up with." JMO I think that this just the beginning of the government putting it's foot down. There's just to much debt out there and people are finding it impossible to keep-up with.

It would not hurt to tell anyone you work for that you in fact "get paid" close or no close, or if the bwrs' rescind you still get paid. When we do our job , we need to be paid. Our creditors need to be paid in a timely manner.

Sorry you had that experience Tony. It's not a happy thing. Frown

I am a professional mobile notary as well as the operations manager for Solutions Title. Negrete's was a signing service that we used as we work mainly with signing services. Negrete's had a very profitable relationship with Solutions and the decision was made to stop using their services. We are being billed for closings we have already paid Negrete’s for and some that were done by other signing companies after they declined the order. I sent him a letter yesterday asking that he provide detail for the closings as well as the names and phone numbers of the notary who they states went out to each closing. I had planned on calling the notaries to see if they truly went out to the closing and if they were paid by Negrete's and then I could determine if we owed Negrete’s any additional funds. The letter clearly asked that they not post any derogatory information to the notary boards. I received an e-mail from one of our preferred notaries who said that she had seen the posting and wanted to make sure we were aware of what Negrete's was doing.

Aegis is a formidable company who has a diversified portfolio of products that include sub-prime, alt-A and A paper loans. They are not one of the companies named in the criminal investigations into sub-prime lenders. For Negrete's to attempt to slander "Eagis Mortgage Co" (it is spelled Aegis by the way) is a feeble attempt at damaging a long standing successful company who competes in the sub-prime and prime markets. His comment stating Aegis is “about to fold” is a clear violation of the Rules & Guidelines of this forum unless he can substantiate that claim by providing documents supporting his claim that the company is going out of business. If that is the case I would love to see that so I can position myself appropriately and update my resume!

The Rules and Guidelines Netiquette of this forum state that if you are going to "bash a company's reputation" you need to be able to support your claims. We have handled ourselves in a professional manner and provided Negrete's with a request for additional information. I hope no other Company has to endure the same malicious business practices that Negrete's is attempting to employ here.
