***Has anyone gotten paid lately from them for closings they did? They owe me one from January. I know already they do not pay timely.***
Titlestream (TS National Solutions) is one of my best clients, and has been for several years. Not only do they pay premium fees, I have never been stiffed on an aborted closing, or a cancelled closing.
They do pay late. I have no idea why, because the operation is quite professional otherwise. I have just learned to live with it. When billings get close to 90 days old, I call, talk to Dale in accounts payable, and >>>ASK<<< for a check. When it comes, which it always does shortly thereafter, it always covers all the older billings and some of the more current ones. When I was confronting five weeks off work because of recent heart surgery, I explained the situation and asked if they could pay all the outstanding billings so I would not be looking at a huge hole in my earnings. I got two checks, quite large, immediately thereafter.
So, I've learned to make lemonade out of this parcticular lemon. Yes, billings aren't paid timely, but when they are paid, usually in a batch, the big checks certainly are welcome.
