Tri-Star Title of Lombard, IL

I know this title co. was shut down on Feb. 22, 2007 by the powers that be. I was contacted by the signing co. that always hired me for Tri-Star's closings to see if I would accept a 3, 6 or 9 month re-payment plan. They don't owe me a fortune, but they owe me enough. Has anyone else been contacted by them about this "re-payment plan"?

I worked for the Lincolnwood office directly, never from a service and I was paid the whole amount they owed me. But as I said, this was directly from Tristar.

Depends how much of a gambler you are. Personally, I'd take the 3- month, which I assume is at a discounted rate. My thoughts would be if the ss took a big hit from this title company, they may still tumble, no matter what their good intentions are today. I'd get what I could as fast as I could.
