Re: Who does home equity loans?
Why do I even bother asking a simple question, what exactly is this forum for anyway??

By your own admission, it was a simple question. And that is why it was met with such sarcasm.
It really was difficult to determine what you wanted to know. I think I know what you meant, but I'm not sure. I'll try to give you an answer anyway.
Who does home equity loans? We all do, if we want to stay in business.
Good luck.

What is it you need to know?
I think we all do Home Equities of one form or another. As someone else pointed out, the sarcasm might be just because your question wasn't clear - what exactly are you looking for?

That was a (_E-mc2_) answer to a (_?_) question. JBarnes...
You might want to elaborate on that question, because my answer would be: we all 'do'... (notarize HELOCs...except in TX.)

"because my answer would be: we all 'do'... (notarize HELOCs...except in TX.)" Actually, we "do" in TX too...just can't be in the BO's home. Signing must take place in an atty's office, title office, or a branch of the lender. TX is quirky!

Thanks RastTxNotary. Yes we can do HELOC's here in TX and the more relationships with Title companies the better for the notary.
