? regarding Notice to closing agent & borrower

I have a question regarding the Notice to Closing Agent and Borrower Prepaid Interest Collected at Funding. It is my understanding that the Borrower has to either initial or sign the document, I'm I correct? This is a Countrywide Home Loan.

The borrower must initial the top section of the form where the following text appears:

"My initials here indicate that I do not request or approve any request made on my behalf that escrow disbursement occurs......" to indicate they/borrower is not requestingor authorizing special funding requests.

The second box states "My signature below indicates that I wish the lender to comply with a request made by me or on my behalf to close on a Monday or a day immediately following a holiday,..." Wouldn't signing this form mean the borrower agrees to wait.
