Thank you for your interest in getting set up with our office to complete notary signings. Attached is the set up package that will need filled out and sent back by fax.

Also attached in the set up is a Background Check Request Form. This is required to be filled out in order to do closings for our one Lender USAA Federal Credit. They provide most of our Florida closings and since their borrowers are US Government employees this is needed in order to close their loans. If you do not feel comfortable in filling this out that is fine, but you will not be eligible for receiving work from USAA.

ATM's base fee for notary closings is $45 and this is for whatever areas you are willing to cover at this fee. We also have an automated system that you can be set up for which offers you closings in your area prior to any other agent. This will provide you with a higher volume of closings.

If you are not able to complete closings for this fee but would still like to send us the set up package, please list your fee so we can get you set up in our system correctly but understand we can not guarantee you work.

My direct fax is 800.382.2708

Thank you and I look forward to working with you,

Jennifer Cumpston

Re: I think those are auto loans, not home loans

You wont believe this. I just called to see if this was car or home closings. I spoke with Rich , and he said these are home loan closings. I said you must be kidding for 45 dollars, and he said, nope we have hundreds of agents that do them. I said well I will not be one of them and he said suit yourself, your missing out. Missing out on what? I would not even start my car for that!!

I can tell that many notaries are taking the 45 dollar fee. I get call from signing agencies like well I know your fee is $$$ but I have to find $$ first but if I can't I'll get back to you. They never do. I also am a member a notary group on ning called www.notarynetwork.com, which is pretty cool. But there are actually people saying there excepting those low fees and if those people are out the closet then there are way more in. Good luck to all us notaries up holding the professional. When we have to start signing for pennies and then want a union, don't start crying, to all those who are letting us get low-balled. We run this not them, make them pay!

Re: ATM

I have worked for ATM for 5 yrs; but only get assignments to clean up a mess that another notary/loan signer has done. I only work in Riverside or Moreno Valley, Ca for $100.

They are a very good company (to work with and get paid on time.) They paid $50 in 2002 and then dropped down to $45 in 2003 and that is when I stopped working for them, except as stated above.

Gas was also $.99 a gallon in 2003.

If they paid me $100 to do signings in the cities of Riverside & Moreno Valley I would work for them every day of the week and the reason is they are just a great company to deal with.

That said, they are completely out of touch with reality with gas at $3.39 per gallon in Riverside, Ca.

Re: ATM

...They paid $50 in 2002 ...

When I started with them in 1998/99 they paid $110 for overnight docs - and you could squeeze out a few extra $$$ if there was distance involved.
