Bulk Rate

Hi, I have had a company ask for a rate for "bulk" orders. I do not have a clue as to how to respond. Anyone have an answer or suggestion? Thank you.

Did you ask what bulk meant to them?

Also is there a guaranteed bulk amount?

It definitely depends on what "bulk" means to them. Coming into their office and doing 5 signings back to back? Or giving you 3 different signings spread out over the course of a week? The first one warrants a fee adjustment, the second one doesn't.

You might want to set your rate of regular fees up to x number of signings. anything after that you would give them the bulk rate for the lot. Invoice them once a month. That way you are not out if they do not deliver as promised.

Bulk Rate - sounds like postage. Rather, Volume Pricing.

And prove the volume to set the rate.

Just my humble opinion,
Susie
