Ditech loans

I just got a call from Loan Closers and they're stating that Ditech is lowering their fees so they want to lower mine to $45. Anyone else heard anything? I'm in California.

I happen to know that Ditech quotes a $225 signing fee to its customers on the Good Faith Estimate. Someone is pocketing that additional money and it is not the signing agent!

I never look at the closing costs, but that is very interesting. I know someone is pocketing the money. And it really pisses me off that these companies are reducing fees when gas is $3.50/gal.!
