Dont you just love it

when you call to confirm an appointment and the borrower does not know anything about it. Then they tell you that they dont know if they even want this loan. And like always they want to see the figures before anyone comes over there. "Since when did I become a secretary!" Sometimes we are expected to go far and beyond what our job is. Just needed to vent.

Had that happen to me the other night. The loan officer didn't even call the bo with the info he wanted.. and of course, it was a "no sign".

Re: Dont you just love it - putting up a protective field

**Sometimes we are expected to go far and beyond what our job is. Just needed to vent.**

Nonetheless, Debbie, someone will tell you...

(1) how to do it better or
(2) that your imagination has run wild, or
(3) that they have a perfect nerd-form their imaginary attorney drew up for them to keep anything like this from ever happening in their lives.

I can't tell you how many times it took me to learn not to "vent"
because someone was going to tell me what I did wrong.

I am almost finished putting up the tinfoil and tyvek.

You'll be safe shortly.

DebbieT, take some of Cheryl's duct tape and put foil around

your head. It will help immensely. I use it frequently to ward off the full moonies.

When foil is not handy, Fedex (Tyvek) envelopes are just the right size and will fit your head nicely. Take a look in the mirror after you put your envelope cap on. Laughter is the very best medicine. Take a big dose.

Thank you for the laugh Brenda. Just picturing that on my head was enough.

I especially love it when you have to fax back 39 pages, and get the report that says all 39 pages went okay. You get a call from the SS saying that they didn't get the Deed, and oh, they didn't get anything after the RTC. The Deed was BEFORE the RTC. Duh!!!!!!!

All in a day's work, huh? LOL

Hi Debbie
Yep, I've run into that lots of times. I just call the signing company and explain what was said so they can deal with it. Sometimes the signing takes place, sometimes not. I am not going to sweat over others' problems.
I had one the other night - the title company called me, I waited for the docs, and good thing I looked at the name before I printed them out - they were for someone in another state! When I called the title company to let them know they were confused and said they would send the right ones. I waited 45min. called them to let them know I hadn't received them and would surely be late and we would be signing at 8:30pm or later now. The agent told me to just forget it - they might do it tomorrow. I think the customer was really angry with them as they had messed up the docs before.
Life is full of challenges. I had a quiet evening at home lol. I never heard back from them.

Just happened 2 hours ago...

I got a call yesterday to do a signing today after 1:00pm, since it was O/N docs. Up to me to schedule, I tried repeatedly to contact the Borrower yesterday (his cell phone), no luck! Got the packgae this morning, called his home - no answer, called his work, got message. Finally, calls me back at 11:00am and says he got my message and wants to close at 1pm. Ok, I say, (trying to be a good NSA and just a reminder) you do have your certified check for $XXXX. What, certified check for XXXX? Nobody ever told me I needed a check... WTH! Title company said he knew, he said he didn't, blah, blah, blah. Just didn't feel that I needed to be the one that told him he needed funds to close - now I have to call title, who has call the LO, wait and see if we still close today... and so on and so on.
