Fox Signing
Interesting, Heather and Pierce are both PA notaries, Fox is headquartered in PA Does that make a difference?

It means they live and work in PA. They might not have done a recent closing, therefore, you may be ringing the bell that should alarm them not to do anything in the future. Only be paranoid as result of your own experiences, although sounding the alarm is part of NotRot experience.

The last closing I did for Fox was 3/21 and was paid 4/25.

My thought was that perhaps being a "local" you would appear to have much more leverage in getting paid or collecting as opposed to someone out of state

I have done recent signings for them and have been paid for all signings recently.

I feel border line companies will pay notaries located in the same state without issues. Reason being it would be that much easier to collect or take legal actions against them if they do not pay.
A company in NJ has a borderline rep on this board, but I have had no issues with them.

Exactly my take on them
I have been trying to get paid for one from last May! Rich called me in October tosay the original check came back after floating around the post office with an unreadable address. He said it appeared the check got jammed in the printer and that he was sending out a new one plus a copy of the old one. Nothing. My repeated invoicing and calls into voice mails got not response. The last time I called them Bree told me that one check had been issued...the original. No indication the second was ever cut. One more VM left with Rich and no response. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB. Who declined to get involved. Rich emailed me that since I filed the complaint let the BBB handle it and not to call them anymore. Funny, the only 2 companies that have ever stiffed me were in the last year and both have had postings for non payment issues in the last 2 days. Both were very good to work for at one time.
