GLBA-BC...Not so effective
I received a check made to a different SS which was addressed to me in error by the title company. I googled the company name for a website and found the owner's name listed on the website. I then googled the owner's name to see where she's listed as a notary, but found some rather interesting information. Her name is listed in a real estate bulletin published by CA DRE.

She was disciplined for violation of Business & Professional Code (490 - Substantially related criminal conviction, 10177b - Conviction of crime) in the Los Angeles region.
Her website has the XYZ logo on the homepage.
