How To Do Inspections
I was asked to do a drive by inspection. Wondering what I need to do / know. Do I need to be certified or anything like that? I'm doing work in MN & ND. Any info at all would help. Thanks a bunch!

No certification for these type of inspections. Typically the company will tell you how many photos & what views they are looking for (front/side, street, address verification, visible damages present). They are usually quick & easy, but the pay reflects, that too.

Melissa's answer is right on target:

They should send you a sheet with questions and instructions on it. Without more info than that we would not know what to tell you.
My rule(s) of thumb...take more pix than you need to, imagine every shot as being the lead photo on a magazine story...when taking pictures of businesses, at minimum you need (1) a "glamour" shot (2) signage (3) ingress/egress (4) visible damage or deferred maintenance.
Check the list to see what else they want.
If you haven't received a list of their requirements, you need to tell them you need their expections prior to your going out for them.
