I know the Garbage Man.

I was helping a realtor friend out the other day. I went and took pictures of her new listing.

There were a couple of little kids perched on the couch eagerly watching the street. They were waiting for the garbage man. He finally arrived and they were mesmerized watching him throw the bags into the compacting unit.

I walked out as he was getting ready to leave and he waved me over. He had seen the car magnet I had gotten from PAW advertising my business. he asked me if I could come to his mothers house to witness some documents. She doesn't get out much.

As we exchanged information I glanced back at the house. There they were in the front window, mouths agape.

After the garbage man left, the little boy came tearing out shouting "Wow! You know the Garbage Man?" Should have taken a picture of that little face!

Thanks for the plug. I've had many responses like this saying someone saw the sign. It pays to advertise.

Maybe I need to put signs on the garbage trucks too! LOL

Since I only received a few pictures, I decided it's not worth the effort to try to put together a gallery. Now if I got a whole bunch (hint!), I would put together a gallery to give visitors ideas of what they too can do.

My kids love saying Hi to the garbage man. I used to give him muffins I baked (sounds kind of gross cause his hands were dirty I'm sure) but he liked it. Seeing the garbage man is one of the perks of working from home
