WOW!!! I guess they're famous for that. I'm still waiting for payment from them myself. I've already sent them the invoice 3 times. I guess I should just wait patiently on this one.

I'm so glad I didn't accept an assignment from them. This forum really is helpful. Thanks. Sandi in CA

Well, they paid me also for a signing in January. Not sure if they paid because I sent a note to Ed or because I added 2 seperate "collection" fees. After being told in March that a check had been cut the day before, I waited a week. When no check was received that week, I called again. The check was cut the day before that time also. No check, called again. Lori again. Told me this time that she had the check on her desk to mail, and she was going to drop it in the mailbox on the way to lunch. No check. Called back, she said the check was apparently lost, and she was going to void it and send me a new one that day!!! No check. Called my lawyer, who said he'd write them a nastygram. I got the check 4 days after I sent Ed a letter asking why the bill had not been paid. The check I got was mailed Monday, April 30 and dated March 15. Of course, it was for the original amount; no collection fees. Rick

Re: I have always been paid - 45 days...
They may not be as fast as you would like, but they definitely pay! I keep a log of all my payment activity, and I have never had to call or send letters. I have always been paid!

Signing 3-3-07, received check yesterday 5-3-07. I don't mind if companies are slow, as long as they DO pay.

This is a hard one. Although I did get paid, it was 5 months after the signing. I had to pursue them. Original Signing was for a 1st and 2nd for which my confirmation said 1st Refi. When I called them on it, they would not adjust the fee. They never returned emails, or calls. It was a battle. So far every time they have called since, I have been booked. But the choice isn't hard, if I wasn't booked I still would not accept anymore closings from them.

I also had a similar experience from LIA. They gave me "the check must have been lost in the mail" and they "are not responsible for the us mail". I was told that they were going to delete me from their system because I called title -(very unprofessional of me).
Just about every EOM I get a call from them. I always say - "I thought that you were going to remove me from your system?" The response is always the same..."I don't see any notes here". I tell them to check with _______.
I usually get a call shortly thereafter from another SS or title - for the same assignment! I won't take anymore signings from them. I will not allow them to make $$$ off of my hard work. I still get the job and they get what they deserve...SQUAT!
