LoanSigners, INC
This is to let you know that today I drove over to ACE Mortgage Funding in Crown Point, IN and spoke with the manager re LoanSigners, INC and Chris Von Nieda. The manager was disappointed that CVN is NOT paying the notaries who are doing the work and he does not want the name of ACE linked with anyone who engages in theft of services.
He said he will speak with corporate in Indianapolis and they will take this issue seriously. The manager also stated that he has heard this in the past but I think CVN has tried to assure them that he IS paying the notaries.
I showed them how to use Notary Rotary to do a search on any signing service they are looking at using and they promised to do this.
Again, ACE Mortgage Funding is a reputable company and they do not want nor deserve to have their name besmirched.

Thanks for standing up for the notaries who are not getting paid. The title companies need to know and face to face conversation is the best!!

Thanks Katreena for going to bat for me and others. I received an email from Loan Signers inc. tonight (surprise). It states that your check is being processed, and to make sure your address is correct . Also if you request a duplicate check they will charge $ 10.00. I will make sure to report when I get the check! Claudine

I don't understand why a notary would need a duplicate check
Why the duplicate check to a notary? Just curious.

Thanks very much, Katreena, for staying on this. I haven't received a thing from Chris, of course, but I will be calling, faxing and emailing again in hopes of reminding him yet again that I am one of the unpaid masses.

ACE Refi
Ace is very well aware of the problems that LSI is into. I believe that they restructured their contract with him some time last year.
And, trust me when I say this, you're not doing any favors when you show Ace how to find their own notaries. Their title company has a list of approved vendors, you really want to get on that list in order to avoid static down the road. PM me if you're interested in that business.
For those of you out there that don't know, Ace Mortgage writes on B/C paper and has a tendancy to close loans at the very last second....

Re: ACE Refi
I did NOT show ACE how to find their own notaries but how to check out signing services on NotRot which are offering their buisness. I'm sure they already know how to find their own notaries if they so desire.
Yes, they had heard stories about Chris and yes they had spoken with him but I took this to them in person - in black and white and there is no more just "talking to Chris" about it. I explained to them that associating with someone who engages in "theft of service" blackens their name also. This company does NOT want their name besmirched.
I don't know anything about your comment that Ace closes loans at the last minute.....what does that mean? Many calls I get from many different companies are last minute so I'm not sure what the point is. Please explain..thanks
