Looking for an internet based calendar
that can be shared by many and possibly linked to a website. I've seen a couple...none of which really turn my crank. Anyone?

Are you talking about a calendar where you can input information that others can see? Or just a calendar?
If just a calendar, have you seen the one on the bottom of PAW's home page? I got that in an email once, but can't get my hands on the link. Take a look. If you like it, I'm sure PAW would tell you where he got it. This one 'turns my crank'....LOL.

Actually, Google has a nice one, if you want an online one.

Google could work, but I would have to load in all the people that could access it. I'm looking for a calendar that is accessible to the FL NSA Network and can be posted on the website so that our clients could view vacation schedules for individual members. Vacation time is here and I'd like to keep the Network members and our clients in the loop.
I'll check out the one on Paul's site. Thanks ladies.

How is the "Network" hosted? There may be a groupware product available from the host. There are many products available for hosted systems. One is http://www.officeclip.com/web/calendar/home.html
BTW, I don't think the "calendar" on my home page is what you're looking for. It simply displays the current date/time in a neat format.

Search for open source calendars, like PHP
They are usually free and configurable. For instance-> http://www.k5n.us/webcalendar.php

Try a couple of things - I have a website that I go to all the time to find software and shareware/freeware programs - www.tucows.com and type in "Calendar" in the search bar.
One that came up for less than $40 was www.coffeecup.com they have a web calendar, there are several others listed on Tucows, most have downloadable time limited demos.
