Magellan Roadmate 2200T on sale/opinions?

It's on sale right now at costco for $250. Does anyone have it ? Are you happy with it? Pros/cons? Did a google search on it and it's definately a great price.

Have one, use if often, love it. Several members of my family have it also and they too are very happy

I have a Magellan 300 and it's great. Magellan is the software that Hertz NeverLost uses, so it's wonderful. I do have a few things for you to think about:

1. Make sure it does not have a long delay to find the satellite when you turn the car on ... Mine can take up to 3 minutes to locate me! By that time, I could be AT the signing appointment.

2. How current is the software? I have had mine since January of 2005 and they have not updated the software for my unit. Thus, it gets very confused when I take a road that it doesn't realize exists!

3. What kind of mount does it have? The windshield mounts can pop off the windshield.

4. Can you change the voice? Mine comes with a male and a female. The female voice (to me) is very grating, so I have him guide me.

I LOVE the portability ... mine has gone on vacation with me many times and saves my hide when I am in strange territory. Overall, I LOVE Magellan.
