Miracles Will Never Cease!
Update on my nonpayment issue. I just spoke with the borrower and they actually paid my fees to the title company. The check is made out to me, so there shouldnt be any problem getting it. I am completely surprised and happy. The only part that bothers me is I feel the 2 comps that hired me should have been responsible for this payment, not the borrower. They messed up on the settlement statement and that isnt the borrowers fault. Thank God this borrower was understanding otherwise I think I would still be chasing payment.
But Im being paid, so all is well.
