OT--IRS Tax Question...

So, on 4/14 I filed my tax return online. I had to do a payment. It's been five weeks and they still have not taken the payment out of my bank account. It bugs me having something hanging out there like that. Usually I just send a check.

Oh yeah, and I did follow up with the form that you have to sign and send in. It was received on the 20th--I used Delivery Confirmation.

When are they going to hit my account?

I check my bank account online regularly which helps not to have to call them, etc.

How to make IRS payment clear bank TODAY

Just cash a check that leaves your account ONE THIN DIME short of the amount needed to cover IRS (or any other outstanding item)... and it will clear THIS AFTERNOON.

Of course that'll cost ya $20-$30 depending on your bank... but it'll work I guarandamtee it.

Murphy was a banker.

They've got more and more people filing electronically which is supposed to make it much easier for the IRS, but they are farther behind than ever this year.

I personally feel it is time for the Fair Tax!! Let's get rid of the IRS!!

Per Murphy, IRS debit will hit when you are least .....

expecting iit, and when you are $2 short of amount needed , due to an
unknown debit hitting you account the same morning.
Accordingly you will incur massive bank and IRS fees , charges, fines,
nastygrams, etc, etc.

I filed the very last day, paperless filing, not need to send anything at all, and the following day my account was debited(sp) the amount was owed. Better call the IRS. Too many deductions Brenda?? Just kidding.

Re: OT--IRS Tax Question...thanks y'all.

I definitely didn't take more deductions than necessary. Smile
