Ok, I'm aggravated...need to vent...

Got a call yesterday to do a signing today at 5:00pm about 45 minutes away. Ok I can do it. Cut short a meeting today at 3:00pm so I could rush back to my office an print out the docs. Guess what?? no docs... what a surprise. Called the Title Co. 3:30.. where are the docs? duh...don't know but I'll check. No word. Sent an email 4:30...no response. Called again 4:45, they are working on the HUD and should be sending them shortly. Just got a call from the Title Co...5:00pm ... not going to close today, can I do it on Monday? Do these people think we have nothing else to do but sit around and wait for them? It's decent pay or I would tell them to get someone else. Got a call last week to do a signing about 50 minutes away... eDocs... $75.00??? are they kidding?? This is crap. Sorry... I'm getting really tired of scheduling my life around these signings..

I've been there. Sometimes I've turned down another job for the one that never happened. What gets me is when it's a better paying job. And, yes, they do expect us to sit around and wait for them. Keep up the good fight!

Well, I'm not going to condone the lender or TC.

Unfortunately, many think we have nothing better to do than to wait for them.

That's just the way it is.

Been there--done that.

There is a worse position: not having any business at all.

At this stage of the game...I'd certainly be willing to trade you!

Remember them at the end of the month. I have had this happen so many times with the same company I now have my own list of 'yeah if I'm not doing something else' list. Not
necessarily a no-no list, just one I stick in the back of my 'confirmed' 'will happen' list.

Countrywide piggyback over 1000 sheets & toner only to find

out at the closing table that the ID did not match up with the docs. Need a redraw. All this after 4 hours at my desk trying to get the docs to me and printed. No one other than myself seemed to care, what a frustration!
