Perils of a Signing Agent in Arizona

Bumped into a Cholla Cactus (I swear those things reach out and grab you!) coming out of the front door of a borrower's house last night. Spent 20 minutes, in my car, trying to pick the needles out of my arm. Ouch!!!!!!!!!! I'm raising my rates!

Re: Perils of a Signing Agent in WI

I have definately been having problems with animals. A couple of weeks ago I arrived to find the borrower standing in his yard purple with an adrenoline rush. He thought he was grabbing a lether strap on his shed door and grabbed a huge Bullsnake instead. I saw it, it was huge.
This week it was 2 boxer/mastiff dogs with shock collars laying at my feet. One was making this noise the borrowers insisted was an upset stomache. I was afraid to move my feet. Then on the way home, a dump truck threw some rocks at me and cracked my new windshield. At least the farm dogs aren't so muddy anymore.

Good one PAW

Iforgot about the slobbery dog with his head in my lap for the whole signing. You have one with cats jumping inand out of a briefcase?

Re: Good one PAW

Not only cats and puppies and other small dogs climbing in out of my brief case, but I've had a few curl up and go to sleep in it. I try to remember to close my case and set it aside, but sometimes I forget and leave it open on the floor.

I remember one instance where I didn't notice a Horned Toad had climbed into my case and I went home with it. Thankfully, the borrowers didn't live to far away and the critter was returned that night. I've always wondered what would have happened if I had a following appointment and showed up at the borrowers house with a live lizard in my briefcase!

Now that's funny.

Ouch, that is definitely painful and I have been there before. I am not looking forward to the seat belt burns and long long hot summer =)

Yep, along with loading the car with the briefcase and flashlight, it's time to throw in a couple of pot holders to hold the steering wheel during the summer!

Re: Perils of a Signing Agent in California

Anyone accepting any signings in Placerville today? My son just sent me a pic of a Mountain Lion in a tree in his backyard. Yikes!! I don't think I'll be visiting him anytime soon.
