Requests For More Fax Backs?
Lately I have been getting requests for more fax backs. Some companies (who I love) do not require any, but it seems the ones that do are increasing the number of pages. I am going to impose a charge for this service - it is for my time and the cost of faxing. At times it makes it most difficult to get the docs sent back the same day and if I have another signing I have to choose not to do the fax backs and mail the docs until later which may be too late for same day pick up. Of course this is a rural area and the only UPS pick up is at 3:30 and the same for FEDEX. No Saturday pick up for FedEx and an earlier one for UPS. Has anyone else been asked to do more lately?

I decided to faxback once as a courtesy and if I work for them again, I charge $15 if they still want faxbacks. I think it's a fair compromise.

I haven't had a faxback request in awhile but I notice they are usually the lower paying companies anyway.

The last fax back I agreed to ended up being 39 pages. And then they claimed to have not received all of the pages even though I have the confirmed report. They claim to have not received any pages after a certain document and the page they want was before that document in the pile. I have a new program... no fax backs without $$$$ my .02

some lenders to require document fax back before issuing a fedEx lable. In that case I tell them up front I charge $25. for up to 30 pages to fax back.
