SIGNATURES PLUS...NON-PAYMENT
I completed a signing for this company on Jan 17, 2007. And after MANY email & phone attempts - no response and no payment. Finally, after I advised I would let other NSA know about the non-payment, I received an email from them a few weeks ago promising payment in a few days. Of course, still no payment after 4 months. So............BEWARE OF SIGNATURES PLUS!!!!!

Go to the orange search button at the top of the forum page and type in message #187426. And, by the way, use the search function when a new company calls you for a signing. It might save you a lot of time with collections.

Re: What I like to do...
when companies like this call. They are usually the pushy companies who want to "promise" peanuts, but never actually throw them to you when they are due.
I got a call from 'ol Signatures Plus just the other day. I didn't even listen past "so & so from signatures plus". Just said, "sorry, I am not available" (...to drive 45 miles one way, on a sunny Saturday, for the promise of peanuts, but really never get paid, and spend 42 extra hours trying to collect peanuts)
She took the bait just like they all do...scrambling to find any unsuspecting notary. She said, "Oh, well the docs are ready, you could just set up a time with these borrowers in the next couple days."
To which, I said, "I apologize, its more that your company doesn't pay it's notaries, and I am not interested in working for FREE." (very politely)
She HUNG UP ON ME!! LOL
