I did a job today for them .... $75 standard, plus $25 travel fee (55 miles each way) and $25 edocs.

Land America called last night...for a deal that was reschelded from last week...they said Countrywide full Spectrum will now only pay $90 no matter what... a $35 cut for this situation. It was 25 miled one way. I said ok if they overnight docs... they will not, so I declined.

They are full of it. They will pay what you ask if it is reasonable and they need you.

That travel fee doesn't even meet the Federal mileage allowance at .48/mile. Also, you are working for FREE as you travel.
I have a city I cover that is 53 miles away, roughly 115 miles r/t I get $150 for o/n and $175 for edocs. And these are low fees compared to others.

  SOry, computer hiccup. Re SERVICELINK
It seems that SERVICELINK will pay different fees to different SA's. The kicker is that they will only call when they are stuck on time or distance. Countrywide Full Spectrum loans require more work, more time and more faxbacks. Sometimes they will meet my fee and sometiimes not. I do far less work for them than in the past. Good luck to all. Harry

  Good point Harry!
I spoke to the Vice President of Vendor Services about this ServiceLink bulletin, and asked her about how ServiceLink decides who gats called and who is only called when needed.
The nfirst year that I did jobs for them I had over $1100 a month average for them, pretty busy. I asked her how I could get back to that volume.
She looked at my vendor data, and said that since I had "raised" my basic fee with them to $70 (from the $65 offered) I would not be called unless everyone still at $65 was called first.
She also said that lowering my basic fee to $65, OR my eDOC fee to $20 (from my $25) would probably put back on the call frequency I had experienced, but who knows .......
I'll have to think long and hard about lowering my prices again, as it's a matter of getting the calls from them, and working harder for less money per job, but more money at the end of the month ....... or hoping that those time slots get filled up by better paying clients (which is more likely).

I would stick around for the better paying clients, time is money and Servicelink is not hassle-free as far as I am concerned.
